The Crusher - The Novas (Image File)
Their contract with Parrot records was terminated in 1965 due to a "beer bust" scandal involving 1 can of un-opened, warm beer that was on the corner of the stage during a performance at the University of Minnesota. The entire band was jailed. Also, booking agents banned The Novas. A tough break for a young combo with a hit song that was on the BILLBOARD HOT 100 for three solid weeks.

Rawhide - Frankie Laine (Image File)
Note: The cowpoke standing right of Clint, is (Shelby F. Wooley) Sheb Wooley. He was a tough cowboy and one of the gang after Gary Cooper in High Noon. He was also a comedian, a musician and singer. Note: The cowpoke on the left, wearing a dark hat. is Robert Fuller. His character name on Wagon Train was Cooper Smith. He also starred as Jess Harper on Laramie, an earlier T.V. western, and as Dr. Kelly Brackett on Jack Webb's series Emergency.
