Circuswater 13 - HEROES & HEROINES: Gene Autry & Arthur Godfrey...

Another early on Hero was Gene Autry. He had a horse named Champion, Gene played guitar and sang. He was great! I acquired this autographed post card in 1989.

My first Hero was, oddly enough, Arthur Godfrey. He had a horse named Goldie, Arthur played ukulele, sang and drank coffee. My grandmother sent Arthur Godfrey this photo of me watching his show.
