I like the aged, yellowing on this old Canson Dibujo sketch paper. It gives a natural effect with no special treatment involved. Almost looks airbrushed.

Yeah, yeah, I know - more of my Fast, Loose and Lousy cartooning style. So if you wanna see good cartooning go buy a comic book, and/or look at the comics in the newspapers. My stuff may be shoddy, but you can look at Circuswater for FREE!...and most readers say that's too much. So why don't you just go stand in a corner and bite your nose?! Curses! foiled again by my own disregard for those who make an effort to do anything worth while. Will I ever learn?!

Okay, okay...the perspective is off, the line work is terrible and the gag is stupid, but the honesty and the heartfelt sensitivity brings me to tears. Plus, as always, it's quantity not quality that drives me.
You know darn well I'll publish over 70 pieces for April and over 2300 total!

Circuswater 13 - Urban Honcho Malaria (aka Blinky) the cow angel...

After months of erie visits in the middle of the night, I finally managed to snap a picture of this ghostly creature that haunts my condo. It has spoken to me in a whispery/clucking sort of tone. It mostly chats about life after death (in the seraphic sense), great laundry catastrophes of the 80's and commemorative soft drink cups. It insists on being called Urban Honcho Malaria, but will answer to the pet name Blinky. At this point I'm not sure if UHM/Blinky is a good angel or an evil cow - only time will tell...oh yeah, I forgot to mention that my alarm clock can talk!  I'll keep you posted.
