Gloria paid close attention to the fan letters sent mostly by teen & preteen girls, and based her magazine on their whims and wants. She also photographed the bands. Tony Barrow, press officer to the Beatles, credits Stavers with providing "significant help" towards the task of fast-tracking the lads to the top of US charts.
