NUTRIA can grow up to 42 inches long. We (Americans) brought em into this country from South America as a promising fur animal. Oddly enough, ladies were not keen on the idea of rat fur coats. There are plenty of other un-rat like animals to slaughter in the name of high fashion. Just another example of sharp, American business know-how. Nutria thrive in swamps, mostly in Louisiana. One day the Nutria may replace the Muskrat. Take note Captain and Tennille.

NUTRIA can grow up to 42 inches long. We (Americans) brought em into this country from South America as a promising fur animal. Oddly enough, ladies were not keen on the idea of rat fur coats.
